Drip Edge Flashing
What is drip edge flashing? It is where your roof line meets the facia board. There is a gap there and allows rodent entry and other wildlife. If squirrels or raccoons come across this they have a starting point to gain access to your attic by chewing and pulling and take up residence which then the animals/rodents can do further damage by chewing electrical wires, going to the washroom, urinating, destroying your insulation etc.

Drip Edge Flashing
Drip edge flashing which will seal the gap to prevent animal/rodent entry.
